Saving & Investing
Saving and Investing is vital to growing financial wealth and ensuring a comfortable retirement. Three words can simplify the investing and saving process: Early, regularly, and aggressively.
Saving and investing is a vital part of a financial portfolio. It can seem daunting for those who are inexperienced, but can be made easier through research and financial aid. Personally, through copious amounts of research, I have a plan of how to properly Dave and invest for the future. The first step is finding a financial advisor whom I can trust to help me in investing and saving. Once I have found a good financial advisor, I plan to make create an accurate monthly budget using my fixed expenses and income. By creating an accurate budget, I can set aside money to save and invest. With my financial advisor, we can find multiple investments to put money into such as mutual funds, stock, and retirement plans. Education and research is important here so I am making the best investments possible. It's also important to diversify my financial portfolio to minimize risk. I plan to prepare and save for retirement early- including making it automatic where a plan is set up so money is taken directly out of my paycheck. Even a small bit matters; every dollar counts. If I don’t have a retirement plan through my job at the time, I will set up an IRA. I also will create an emergency fund in the event of an accident or job loss. Emergency funds are always a good idea. To save more money, I will start cooking at home instead of going out. While it might not seem expensive, eating out adds up. Coupons at the store can also help save money. There are countless small ways to save money that overall will make a difference. A good mantra to have for saving and investing is: early, regularly, and aggressively. While this may seem silly, investing and saving early can make all the difference when it comes to retirement.
