My Planning Team

Having a planning team is beneficial for ensuring optimal success in personal and financial matters. With a team around me, I can make better, more informed decisions. This is my strategy for how to build a planning team.

The first step is hiring a financial advisor I trust. A financial advisor is an expert in their field, which can aid in making better financial decisions. It’s important to vet this financial advisor; including asking people who have used them, looking at education, and seeing their success rate. This helps make sure this financial advisor is worth the money. Once a reliable financial advisor is found, I will do the same thing with my accountant, insurance agent, and attorney. These are all vital positions in my planning team that need to be experts in their field with verified, happy customers. Having this side of my planning team will grow my knowledge on the legal processes and documents needed. Once these positions are filled, I can work on diversifying my financial portfolio by investing in multiple things. I also can write a will and power of attorney with proper legal assistance. This team can help with taxes, estate planning, and real estate issues as well. Also joining my planning team will be my spouse and family. I am extremely close with my family and often look to my father for financial advice. Through having people who care about me on my team, I can make sure I am making the best financial decisions possible. Lastly, the final component of my planning team will be a philanthropic advisor. I plan to be a lifelong philanthropist; having a mentor to help with my philanthropic goals will make them much easier to reach. I hope to have a long lasting legacy that embodies my life and all that I hold dear to my heart. To ensure my legacy lasts, my planning team and I will work to make sure my financial and personal life are the way I want them to be. I dream of owning a farm with lots of farm animals, cats, dogs, and a large garden. I hope to have my legacy be one of love, light, and selflessness. I want to make a difference in the philanthropic sector and be known for my environmentalist efforts. I also want to be financially stable and to help provide for my family. To ensure my legacy and dreams, my planning team and I will work to make the smartest financial decisions possible.
